Let's say I have my own sub-reddit and it's popular. Is there anyway of making money from it? Like am I aloud to ask for donates or is that against reddit rules?

May be But reddit traffic really sucks. Yeah you can drive traffic to your website.

It depends of your sub-reddit, but in most subject their is a way to make money. Create a nice page very related on the subject and capture email. You can monetise theses opt-in latter.

the traffic is there, there are bots, acc sellers, so there must be a way or more ways to make money there, try to search for ideas here, i clearly remember reading one not too long ago, they won't work in that exact same form, twist them, but be prepared that their mods are smartened up throughout the years, there aren't too many things they haven't seen yet
i have a bot, but i didn't bother with it, because it's really tough with the accs, karma, ghosting etc. going on

You might. You should not consider it as a job. Do a real job and try making money off the internet on the side.

lol you can - but Reddit users are not the average user - they are more tech savvy and likely to use ad blockers. They also are better at telling when something is a scam or too promotional/sales pitches. There's many advertisers/spammers who have faced the wrath of Redditors, who went to great lengths to find their identity and expose them. So be careful as Redditors don't take kindly to overly promotional posts or tactics to manipulate the system.

Amazon Associates works so well with Reddit traffic. The most important thing though is going to be content. If you post low quality stuff, you might end up having your URL nuked on the entire website.

I get average 3000 visits/day from Reddit, and I have 20 000+ posts on medium size reddits.

Reddit traffic is just like a bot traffic and really sucks. You may make some money by selling posts on REditt, but still I am not sure whether traffic converts into any $ or a click on adsense ads.

If you're selling a valuable product they definitely will buy if you hit the right subs. Its not a good traffic source for things like CPA/AdSense for obvious reasons.

Drive traffic to your site. That's all I can think of.

I have a sub reddit, it's not very popular but still drives some decent traffic, but the problem is 50% of these users have adblock installed.

Yes you can. Actually, I'm currently working on reddit with success. I'm going to post soon my method on BHW which generated me $1750 last month :)

Of course you can. But the thing is, most of the reddit users are internet savvy. So CPA/clickbank offers won't work as well. I did see a few people selling physical products and have done well with it. Will be running a similar campaign in the near future..

Reddit traffic doesn't convert very well, but it's great for cpm or video views.

You'd put a smiley face on me if you could back this statement up with the actual ideas, or possibly some doctored screenshots. I'd actually love to find something ultra productive from Reddit. I mostly just use them for traffic.
