I am interested in doing content lockers. What content works best on these content lockers? Do you need a website to promote content lockers? Can you join content locker networks without a website? How to drive traffic to these content lockers?

You don't NEED a website, but it helps conversion rates.
Some affiliates prefer to direct linking the offer. Some networks have their own landers built into the link. Meaning YOU don't need a website, the network takes care of that. Just don't expect to be modifying too many things on it. (because it's their lander, not yours, you have no ftp access.)

When you're applying to a new affiliate network, and you don't have a website: you get to the question that ask's "What's your website". Generally you can put "www.youtube.com", and still get accepted. I find most content locking networks very beginner friendly. Meaning they accept new-to-the-industry affiliates.

Can you make money on these? Of course. Most the big networks have chatrooms where people broadcast their earnings. People still making xxx-xxxx per day on these things.

Yes you can still definitely make money doing this, you need to make sure you're targeting the right countries though, this is often done through media buying optimising these traffic sources for the highest conversion rates.

You should try it yourself - It's worth it.

There are some good CPA networks with content lockers that you can try. Ogads and CPAGRIP are good.

its not so much a major problem as it is the crux of any affiliate marketing campaign.

if you've ever encountered a content locker "in the wild", such as on google or social media, start by investigating how they are doing it and reverse engineering it.

shortcut to success is copy someone who is already there.
