Can you make a living with article writing?

From Someone Who Purchases Blog Articles.

I would use every service at your finger tip, especially if you are trying to make livable income. If you really enjoy article writing, and are quite good and fast, I could definitely see this as a possibility.

I would have so much to cover, I would freelance article writing to other websites. They are auction style usually, but this is what I experienced:

• You need to have a good portfolio/sample article.

• Having a good resume also helps.

• I used multiple freelance websites, and would generally pay quite well. (On average 40-90$, every 10 articles) So I would suggest you to do the same.

• They were usually about page long articles maybe 500-1000 words, good content, and I had about 5 people that I really liked their work, and constantly sent them assignments.

• On average they each probably made about $200-300 extra a month from providing the service.

• One of the writer's was a girl who I skyped with frequently, and she told me she averages about $1400 a month from article writing, and also has a day job.

Also, this is just one outlet. So I would consider looking at all possibilities, and the only thing that can hold you back is you. Feel free to expand, and don't give up. It may not be easy, but it is definitely possible.

Work at a cheaper rate and see if the practice helps you become more prolific. As they say, practice makes perfect.

Most of the time, writing for people on the net does not have to be perfect, or even great.

It sounds like you may be getting too picky about what you turn out. I am not saying write crap for people, but "decent" is what most clients will settle for, and for what they usually pay, spending all kinds of time making it "perfect," is not worth it.
