Or do you actually need to watch the video??

I want to try using proxies to get my youtube count up, but I dont want to take the time to stream every sinlge video + that would chew up my bandwidth pretty well.

How long do I need to stay on the page to get a view count +1?

its really not worth it, I wouldnt do it. YT bans the video at 300 views. I would just make sure the tags are good, and let the views build up organically

or you can use a PTC program... I've used buxp and they have the option of staying on the target page for 30 seconds or 5 seconds.

I've seen people there advertise YT videos, and was wondering why, then I realized they were 30 seconds stay on page, so it boosts the popularity.

I think it costs like $0.05/visit for a 30 sec. also am sure there are many other programs out there. (you'll have to check on that I've only used them about 4 months ago)

i'm thinking this should work, you can't get a lot with one computer, by using a proxy, because you have to keep the video open for more than 30 seconds (from what i've read, preferably half the time of the video), but it should work.

if the video is 2 minutes, and you have a program that switches your ip every 1 minute, you can use firefox reloadevery to reload the page every 1 minute, and you should get an individual view, that's 60 views an hour, 1440 views a day from 1 computer, now if you had 3 computers that should be 4320 views a day.

but you'll need a good software to switch proxies with. you can't use something like tor, because it's too slow, it would take 5 minutes per view with something like tor.

or well lets say you do use tor which is slow as hell, and you open a tab over 10 different pages, that's 60/5 = 12 x an hour , 12 x 10 = 120, so 120 views an hour x24 = 2880 a day, but to get 10 views in 5 minutes with tor, would seem like quite the difficult task, but it would seem doable with a killer connection and some decent proxies.

but i'm not sure if this will still work, it's 3 in the morning and i'm pretty tipsy, i used to do 1000-3000 views a day with tor but that was in 2008, i haven't had anything to do with tor or youtube since, i'm just trying to figure out how to get a lot of views myself right now.

i know a lot of people cheat up to 50,000 views a day, but i haven't figured out how to do it yet, and nobody here seems to know neither.

if anybody here could sell me garanteed 30,000 views a day, i would buy it.

post the vid on a high traffic forum to get more views and keep bumping the thread.

Are you giving this idea to get banned from the forum by any chance? :P

Mention in social networks and get organic traffic and increase the views, that's the safe method. .

IMO :
- Youtube will count view from whitelist referrer
- Youtube will count view if the visitor stay on video min 30 second
