Back in 2010 when it was at $0.01.

That would have cost you 10 bucks, two Starbucks drinks.

You would have got that not as an investment but for fun or if you lost a bet. And then totally forgot about it. And while restoring one of your old hard drives you discovered this by accident today.

Wouldn't that be real real nice?

I rejected BTC payment back in 2013 or 14. I thought my client is a freeloader trying to offload some fake ass gaming currency. I had no idea.. lol

Yes and I throw that hard drive in the trash already.
I was thinking like that when I just discovered BTC in 2014 but not in 2023

BTC shit is the first answer that comes to my mind to the question of if you were back 10 years ago!

I remember at the beginning of bitcoin, many games pay on btc just for visit, or for install, seeing videos , things like that.

I think in the beginning for me it was very difficult to buy BTC. Even paypal was difficult for me

When it first came I remember rejecting a client who wanted to pay me in BTC.

I had no idea about crypto then so I just ignored it.

Just a normal recurring client on monthly subscription $700/month back then.

I can even imagine myself being the king of world. But it is going to make no difference to my life in any way.

You will not be able to enjoy it today because you will get abducted by a 3 letter agency.

i remember making payments of 0.9 btc like it was peanuts (it was peanuts lol!)
sheez

The reality is even if you bought 1 BTC for, say, $10, you would most likely sell it at $100 or so. Another thing is - we cannot predict the future, and the crypto market back then was very volatile, even more than now, and it was going up and down all the time. There is always something you can/could invest in, and you are unaware of it since it is not easy to know what that golden opportunity looks like.

I was new to internet currency in 2010. I was a bit curious as I use to see btc wallet address on pirate bay asking for donations.

After I heard liberty reserve folded up, my curiousity for internet currency died, so I never explored btc
