Hello genius and lovely people in BHW. Hopefully everyone is fine. I have some issue today, and this time, I'm really pissed off. Imagine if you have already begun to implement something that you learn in here, suddenly your system crash. The worse part is every tools, notes and methods that you've learned are gone too!! I'm not asking for any sympathy, I only "begging" for a genuine help from you guys. Seriously I need help because I don't want the same problem occurs again. Right now, my machine are not in unix or linux environment. I'm using Mr Bill Gates "famous system"(and I guess I will stick with it) for my machine. So, can someone tell me the {best | awesome | genius | wicked | hacker-proof} free ways to harden my Internet and my machine, please? I really hope that someone can lend a hand so that others can benefit too. Please help and I know there are nice people in here. Thanks.

Well i have had problems like that before. But i learned to put all my valuable stuff like files and backups on a flash drive so it will never happen to me again. I dont really know ways to "harden" my machine except using updating antivirus software and make sure to make copies of files just incase

First off you should run more than one computer.

One computer should be solely dedicated to your SEO/Marketing work.

Secondly you should have external hard drives with your valuable stuff on them, and nothing else.
