Hi samar,
Crafting content is the lifeblood of every website. Websites that craft content better than their competition are more likely to rank higher in search engine results than those who do not craft good content for their site. Crafting good content can be difficult, but with these simple steps you will be well on your way to crafting better web content.
1) Find inspiration
Find a topic you enjoy or think others will be interested in. You need to find something that interests you and craft your content around it. If this is hard for you, try doing research to see what has been written on the topic as well as what hasn't been written about yet. Most of all, make sure you are happy with what you craft. If you are not, craft something else!
2) Write about your topic
Record your thoughts on the topic at hand. Try to craft as much content as possible within the topic by recording anything and everything that comes to mind about it. You don't always have to craft whole articles or web pages; craft one paragraph, sentence, or even a word that will help you to flesh out the topic at hand.
3) Edit and Rewrite
Once you have written your thoughts on the topic, it is time to edit and rewrite what you have written. This can be difficult, but it is important to make sure your content is easy to read, understand, and follow. Try to keep your sentences and paragraphs short and sweet while still getting your point across.
4) Use keywords
Make sure to use keywords throughout your content, but do not overuse them. Doing so will actually have a negative effect on your ranking in search engine results. A good rule of thumb is to include your keyword 2-3 times throughout your content, but do not go overboard.
5) Check for grammar and spelling mistakes
Make sure to check your content for grammar and spelling mistakes. Typos and incorrect grammar can be very distracting for readers and can make your website look unprofessional. Spellcheck is a good way to catch most errors, but it is always a good idea to have someone else read your content as well.
6) Proofread
Proofreading is the final step in crafting content. It is important to make sure that all of your corrections have been made and that your content looks and reads the way you want it to. This is also a good time to catch any more errors you may have missed earlier.
7) Publish
Once you are happy with your content, it is time to publish it on your website. Make sure to add it to your site's navigation and make it easy for visitors to find. You may also want to share it on social media sites or submit it to article directories for more exposure.
