say you setup site like http://quove.com/
and then you make them fill out a survey or install zango or w/e..

and once they do that you link them to a site like
http://www.watch-movies-links.net/

which is a movie streaming site.

so my question is that can you get sued for linking to a movie streaming site?

i see lots of people doing this so wondering about the legal issues.

is this a better idea: once they fill out the survey or zango and they unlock the page, dont show anything.

i know its shady but then you cant get sued right because your not linking to anything?

I would like to know the answer to this as well.

Just put up a DMCA and you will be fine... Are you listing the titles of the movies and then linking to the page where its playing, or are you just linking them to the homepage?

Edit: Never mind I just checked the link that you posted, you can be sued for that if you don't list a DMCA and take down content when the copyright owner request it. The Pirate Bay was just found guilty of indexing links in a country where it was suppose to be ok. Lol, I use to run a free movie site like ovguide.com and the MPAA had my host suspend my services til I sent an email saying I wasn't infringing on their rights.

im not doing anything yet... it looks risky to me unless its done annoy

but for example the site http://quove.com/ it lists the movies, in order to view the movie you have to fill out a survey. once thats complete then it unlocks the page and the movie streaming site (http://www.watch-movies-links.net/) will load up in a frame.

what would be the best way to do this without getting in trouble?

You could use Graboid or something similar, just have them fill out the survey and then link em to Graboid, where you will earn even more money. I used to be into a free movie site and I didn't make any real money til I sent my traffic to a site where they had to pay.

The Movie Downloads made me some good money!!!

are you kidding, I would kill to live in the USA here in the UK we got 50% income tax going on and I find it hard to get decent cpa companies to accept me not to mention when I do get accepted, I can't use the high paying offers because they aren't in my area lol.

If only I lived in the USA I would be a millionaire by now.

Canada is too true. I probably would have been arrested at least 15 times if I live in USA since I was 13 years old because some of the stuff I've been doing online.

i've been playing around with this idea on a offshore server. My question is does streaming use the same amount of bandwith if someone downloads the movie .. both using the same server as a example.
