can you change business type or details after verification?

can you change business type or details after postcard verification? Say I want to add a listing for something using my home address then a few weeks later I decide to change my business and website, would it be possible?

I did this a couple years ago it just delayed verification like a month. And I think I had a temporary duplicate.

I changed the industry, website and from a call forward to a cell phone. Then I had 2 listings in my account 1 green and 1 red. 2 weeks later got a call from some indian guy working for Google. He actually called like 3 days later if I remember. I just looked at the number and didn't pick up. Saw the number a few more times then eventually picked up. He asked if I was the owner, asked some other questions, I told him I had a duplicate in my account. He said "I know I'll delete it". Then I went back and noticed both listings went to red. Except the new one had a space for a pin number and the other didn't.

A couple weeks later I got a new card. Put the pin in and the new one turned green. For some odd reason the other one just stayed red in my account for like a year then randomly disappeared. Keep in mind I didn't have duplicates online. Just within my account. The old listing disappeared immediately and the new one showed up a couple weeks later.

This was when Google Local was still around with their old dashboard. But I see no reason why you can't do it today.

yeah it is possible as long as you do not mind doing a re-verification of some kind
