Can XRummer 100% Get You Banned?

I'd like to know how long the lifespan of the sites that go through the latest Xrummer usually is. I've heard from a lot of people that Google easily bans these, but is it 100% ban?

how are google banning xrumer users exactly?

i have always been interested in this. people thinking using some software to crearte linsk can be tracked by google and lead to your site being banned.

in which case i would be very happy to buy xrumer and stick all of my competitors sites through and get them banned.

I don't believe that would happen. Also, within XRUMER, you can use MACROs to rotate the text that is posted so that all of your posts are not the same. Regardless, I just don't think that anything you can potentially do to a competitor could get you banned from Google. If so, people would be trying to take down their competitors left and right. I would love it if a competitor would try to get my site de-indexed by building thousands of links!

That's what I thought but I've heard people say different things. I haven't really seen (or looked, you're right Eli) for reports on this so I thought I could get some answers here.
