As per new Google update, Google wants webmasters to use multiple vendors, not just Amazon like: walmart, target etc.

But I read in Amazon terms that we can't use other vendors on the page where we are linking to Amazon.

I did a research and found many sites using multiple vendors so I am confused about it.

Anyone can through some light on it?

Thanks in advance

I think it's only if you use amazon content, not the link itself. So if you use an image or API pull from amazon, then you can't add another retailer. If you're just using a link I think it's okay. But at the same time, I don't think I've ever seen amazon use this policy enforced against anyone before anyway. You see a lot of sites get away with it. But that doesn't really mean much does it?

It's not surprising though that googles policies won't always align with Amazon, but I think in this case it's amazon that will eventually have to bend to googles will, just like everyone else :p.

Basically what it means that Google recommends for you to use more than one program so, instead of only using Amazon for example it recommends you to use Walmart, Amazon, Ebay and so, on. So, in this case to use all this different retailers then you need to create account on each one.

But, just to be sure can you please place link with the information of this Google update.
