My blog impression has been tanking since March 2 2023. If I keep on writing original content will the blog impression be revived? However, the impression is 1-5 every day as of now. What are your suggestions on it? Should I keep on posting?

It takes a lot of efforts and time and sometimes money to revive a website hit by any Google updates.

It can, but is it also worth your time and effort? If this is tied to an IRL business, or client site, etc... then maybe(?) If you were just using it for other things, maybe better to invest time and resources into something new.

Depends on the situation, what the metrics were, how much content/work has to be redone..... it can be like poking a stick at a dead body. Sometimes the dead body jumps up and eats your brains.

It is possible to revive a blog that was punished by a Google algorithm update, but it requires a lot of work and patience. First, you need to identify the cause of the penalty and which update affected your site. You can do this by checking your Google Analytics and Google Search Console data, and comparing it with the dates of known or suspected algorithm updates

Is the blog penalized or hit by the algo?

If it's been penalized then move on and build a new site with a new domain.

Or if it's been hit then yes, you can get its traffic back.

How do you decide that it is punished?
If you are sure it is, then better abandon it if it is requiring lot a efforts in reviving.
You can better invest that tie and energy in a brand new website and probably can get better results.

Emm, If its tanking gradually, then it wasn't hit. It's simply how SEO works.

And you don't revive it by adding more content, but by building more/better backlinks.

If it is a manual penalty like "PURE SPAM" it will not get revived. One of my websites gets hit by a pure spam penalty like 8 years ago. I spend more than six months editing all the pages and posts and deleted some posts, but Google reject my request. It was a horrible experience, so if you have a lot of posts on your website that need to edit, I will suggest leaving it.

yes it is possible to revive a blog that has been penalized by google alogarithm update but it can be a challenging process

yes and keep improving content quality and removing duplicate content, fixing technical SEO issues, and building high-quality back link

well i don't think abandoning the site is the best option

If you lost all your traffic in one update you probably got penalized for something so first you would have to find the reason that caused it and fix it.

If you were losing traffic with time, thats how normally seo works and you would probably have to update your oldest posts in your site or build more backlinks

Yes, it is possible to revive a blog that has been punished by the Google algorithm. To do this, you will need to identify the issues causing the punishment and work to resolve them. This can involve making changes to your content, improving your website's technical SEO, and building backlinks.
