Can we access Direct Messages on a computer?

Is it possible to read/reply to Instagram DM's on a computer? Tried various apps, Websta was one but you can only compose a new message, not access current conversations.

Officially, you cant. There is no support for Instagram messaging system in the API:

Unofficially, you can reverse engineer the Instagram Android app, which is pretty easy (like everything else on Android), and then use the unofficial parts of the API to retrieve the messages.

did you managed to send DM via API for insta? Pls let me know how we can send a DM via API
