If I am using a PBN that has spun content on it as the first tier then, when penalized, discovered, can it also ban my adsense that is on the moneysite?

There's nothing in the AdSense terms that mentions your backlinks. Bans usually come from sending traffic, fake clicks, poor content and ad-stuffing.

Read the program policy and guidelines:

EDIT:

However Webmaster Guidelines on link schemes advise against PBNs:

and the Webmaster Guidelines are referenced in the AdSense terms, so technically they could ban you from AdSense for buying links etc.

No, I mean I want to put adsense on my moneysite and then buy PBN links that have spun articles on them.

If you get discovered, you just get your site manually penalized and not banned from Adsense.

They have no reason to ban your account.

No way, your adsense gets a ban hammer. Enjoy your stay with adsense account and PBN.

I had my first Adsense account banned in 2011. I used BMR (a blog network) to rank my site. Somehow G found it and de-indexed the whole money site. A few weeks later I got an "account disabled" email that specifically said I had broken the webmaster guidelines.

I think if you get any of the modern penalties (penguin etc) or even a manual action you should be OK but if your money site gets de-indexed for any reason you might loose your account.

Still they can ban your Adsense account whenever they want, for whatever they want. Of course that is probably not going to happen if you have an authority site and you don't do SEO on it, however I doubt that.

In short no, if your PBN is good enough to rank your sites, you should be good enough to monetize with adsense. Just make sure you site that hosts adsense is good quality.

Well if you get your site banned from Google SERPs then your adsense revenue will plummet as well so there's no reason to ban the account.

I've had sites caught for unnatural links and my adsense accounts are still up but that's an isolated case.

Its a good idea having Ad-sense in your money site. But, i don't think why would you pick links from spun network. There are some other methods to do like web 2.0, social bookmarking etc.

Because I can get 100 links for $10.
