Title kind of says it all.

I was wondering if it was possible to determine who has visited your profile on facebook??

Ive had a look about on a few pages through the big G but cant locate anything so far.

Cheers

John

No...any software/app claims it can is a scam. They will try and trick you into completing a survey to see results. Then it will just spam all your friends like "OMG! Do you know you can see who views your profile?!?! My xgirl still stalks my page 10 times a day...see who views your page, click below"....something like that. There seems to be a new sucker born every minute with that crap. Makes me want to build an app like that haha JK. But I bet those dudes make decent income of that scam. Something everyone wants and I don't think it will ever happen.

Although difficult to prove, I believe the 'suggested friends' and 'friend finder' algorithm adds weight to people that view your profile.

You're lucky taxx replied first, I was going to make a very long and sarcastic post telling you till fill out a few surveys etc. ;)

Lawl, I know of people who were making 4 to 5 figures a day by tricking people into believing this was possible (content locker/survey stuff).

It was possible at some point; there were apps that would show you the full stats, but the TOS was later modified to prohibit that, and I believe the functionality isn't there anymore for developers to exploit.

No you can't, any app or anyone that says you can is a definite lie to scam/spam you and get your details.

Actually I asked this exact point at the last Microsoft/Business Refresh Expo :D =Edit==> I attended, I only go to the ones where the first 50 applicants get a free ticket, I aint paying for the privilege lol.

Anyway according to some of the speaking delegates, it WAS possible, you just have to use a variation on tracking cookies....

(No idea if they were just speaking out of their asses or, but a tracking cookie at least makes sense as far as I can tell, since the visitors computer would have to fetch it... never successfully implemented anything on any of our pages though!)

yeaaaah,,, even until now I want to know how. there who know for his knowledge yes please ....:D

Um yes it WAS and is now ONLY if they have their settings to allow you..so VERY few now.
