I read in a post from the semhush that said a nice technique to improve website rake is to improve the CTR rate in organic search.

The suggestion of the article is to ask different ips's to search, navigate to the result of your site and click. Spend some time on the site, visit other pages and quit.

This would increase the click through rate on your site and consequently your rankings in organic search.

What are the chances of this giving shit using a Tor browser for example (if Google does not block access)?

Of course this works in general.
But forget the TOR browser.

Unless you’re using residential IPs and different browser profiles, this won’t work. I think datacenter IPs are an easy target to ignore, then footprints used by your browser. A while ago Moz has conducted a similar experiment, and results were not encouraging. Google knows if you are on the second floor for example. Or where you went last week, Wednesday 10 PM.
In my opinion, there’s nothing to lose if you try. But if something like that worked or did not two months ago, doesn’t necessarily mean the same scenario happens today. Algo is changing. Worth a shot
