Can This Tool Be Created???

Hello,

First post - but wont be my last. And yeah - I mistyped Dirty and typed Drity instead . I'll keep it - like the sound of it.

I need a tool created - and maybe it's out there already.

I want to be able to send someone to an offer - whether CPA or regular affiliate offer - but when the prospect hits submit - I ALSO want the information that is passed.

No, I do not want credit card info, or anything like that, I would just like the contact info - and maybe have them automatically added to MY aweber AR - as well.

This would solve 2 things (well actually a lot more, but 2 MAJOR things).

First, I would then obviously be building my OWN list and can market similar products to these people - and even SELL the information to other interested parties.

Second, as far as CPA offers are concerned, it will enable us to be able to detect scrubbing - as we ALL know the networks and advertisers do.

Let me know if this is out there - or if it can be done.

If you send them to the CPA offer, you can't do it unless you would like to risk your account.

I actually pull the info FIRST from a landing page (without a lot going on with that page) and then pass it to the offer.

But, the answer...yes, it can be done.

What you are talking about is called prepopup, short for Pre Population Popup.

It's been around for years, and the scripting for it is pretty basic. I'm sure if you hunted around you could find the necessary code to do it.

Basically what happens is the data entered goes into your own database (ie. list build) and then when the go to the lead page, all their information is already filled in and all they have to do is hit the submit button. You got their data for yourself, and your got the lead paying you our 50 cents. All is well in the world.

I do caution you that you will want to talk to your AM before launching such campaigns. Some allow it, while others don't. Generally most are cool with it, because the quality is usually pretty decent when someone is going to the extra trouble of building their own leads db at the same time. Nonetheless, always a good idea to ask.

Google for 'prepop offers' and you will find a variety of references to this topic. Good ol' Chow is one of the biggest writers about it because he is secretly in love with VanClute. :flowers1:

Actually, I have heard of Pre-Pop a long time ago. I was trying to avoid the second page objection - and grabbing it off the offer itself.

Coreone - I guess your explanation is the pre-pop variety, as well. Do you have a recommended script for that?

That would be the next best thing - other than having the script click the OFFER button for us on the next page . In that case, you could actually Iframe your similarly designed form on their offer - have the pre-pop fill theirs in - in the background - and automatically submit it.

The problem with that - is that your form will still be on top of the "thank-you" page.

The best thing to do in regards to the second page is to instruct them on the first that they will be directed to another page and that they will see their information filled in and they MUST hit the submit button, or they will have 7 years of bad luck or whatever it is you're offering.

If you do it automatic, I doubt there is a network anywhere that would accept that kind of action.

If you want the submit button to hit automatically, then you will need some kind of iframe with a javascript loaded with conditionals on when to submit (ie. once all form fields are filled). That's just off the top of my head. Someone might be able to do a better job using php and regex functions.
