Hello, on website thats mostly famous for its youtube views, they offer a service that guarantees a moz domain authority score of above 50 within 30 days for any domain. It costs 160 usd

Can this offer be legit or do i harm my website if i buy this service? to me it sounds to good to be true tbh. What you guys opinion

High metrics can easily be achieved by effective spam.

Service like this has value for those selling domains as they can impress buyers.

High DA doesn't mean search engines will think the same though ;)
 
When its too good to be true it probably is (too good to be true) . I get that on my whatsapp all that the time , them moz DA service, they dont get you anywhere.
 
It is legit.
There're a few threads on this forum on how to increase Ahref and Moz scores but it won't improve your rankings.

Thank you for your answer. But is there a good method on how to figure out if a expired domain is good? if people can even use spamm that gets you penalized and it shows up as a good domain on moz, how can i ever be sure that a domain is alright? Would be nice if you could help me with that. Thanks in advance!

DA and other numbers are only there to give you a quick idea of the strength of a domain or page, and are the result of all the data they have about a website, condensed to a single number. To check if they played the system you can just dig into the data yourself and look for:
  • sudden increase of inbound links
  • overall quality of existing backlinks
  • you can go through some of the links and decide for yourself if these are contextually reasonable links or likely bought link spam.
If they have hundred of links you'll likely need a moz/ahrefs/etc. subscription to get access to their full backlink profile, or ask somebody with a subscription to help you out.

You have to check backlinks manually.

Even metrics are more reliable on backlink level than when checking whole website.

If you want to be super sure you go deeper and check tier 2 links.

hmm thats actually interesting, i used to write content for blogposts for a lot of clients

so lets assume i use one of those services, wont google penalize or even sandbox my site? if so, the clients surly see that and wont order blogposts from me

whats your opinion on this?
 
That could be done, but it wont help your ranking much. They have tips that can increase the metrics, not the ranking. Higher metrics dont get you better ranking.
 
There are services at Fiver which does it cheaper if you are looking particularly for increasing the DA. Keep in mind that it won't help you in SEO anyway.
 
Absolutely legit but you can not call this SEO service. There is nothing SEO about it.
There are various Spam method which helps to manipulate DA/DR, it does help to change the metrics, if you are looking for one. But it will not help you in SEO anyway
I think 160 is too high; check out fiverr gig or marketplace, you may find it much cheaper
 
Overpriced you can do that on your own much cheaper. As other have said no use for artificialy increasing DA as it won't provide SEO benefints. On the other hand, if you want to sell your domain to an uneducated person it can be beneficial.
