Permanently banned doesn't mean you are banned permanently on reddit. Sometimes, it just requires you to change password. Just check you email for any reddit instructions.

nope reddit banned you for good, you must have get flagged, posted a blkaclist url or said something against their TOS
From this screenshot I attached, if I change password will it work according to what you said?

Here's a simple method to determine whether your Reddit account is truly banned or just experiencing a temporary issue:
The Test:
- If your profile shows as "suspended" on new Reddit but appears normal on old Reddit = Your account isn't banned; you likely just need to reset your password
- If your profile shows as banned on both new and old Reddit = Your account is fully banned
How to Switch Between Reddit Versions:
Simply modify the URL:
- New Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/YourUserNameHere
- Old Reddit: https://old.reddit.com/user/YourUserNameHere

Yes, it’s possible in some cases — depending on why the account was banned.
If Reddit said “check your inbox,” they might give an appeal option.
You can try submitting a request via reddit.com/appeals.
Avoid admitting any violations — ask for clarification and say you’re willing to follow rules.

it originally did work around feb, im guessing reddit fixed the glitch, i was shadowbanned when they forced a password change, it dint work either.

there is no chance to get it back. maybe they remind you to signup again using same email
