Hi, I own a yt gaming channel, In i upload my own screen recorded gameplays but without any commentary or facecam, but these are 100% my original content as everyone have their style of playing( hence can be distinguish ). Whenever i want to tell sometime through my video like helping tips, i add subtitles in it. So, will they monetize this type of channel currently under review ?
Can this of channel monetize ?

Thanks, i have one more question, for example when new update of the game about to come they upload(developers) on their official twitter page, preview of characters that gonna come out, i.e they their one or two attack. And same video i upload on channel to tell viewers what's gonna come, but other channels of same category do the same thing too. So will it come under content duplication ?

Yeah my friend. you can monetize any channel if you will put the effort in it.
Thanks for reply, i've heard on some youtube video that commentary or facecam is mandatory, but i put effort in providing high level gameplays, tips, etc

gaming is not always about skill, your videos have to be entertaining and well edited. Nobody is going to watch a boring video.

Its not true as there many walkthrough channels on youtube and all of them are monetized
Commentry is not must but it helps a person to be distinct from others so you can do it then it will be much better
Good example - THEGAMINGLEMON doesnot shows face but he does really funny commentry
I get positive comments like nice gamplay, nice fight, nice tips, thanks for video, etc.
I also provide the solution of hard mission in some videos,
So they enjoy watching my vids, plus like/dislike ratio is also good.
Problem is that my english is not good, as its not my native lang. And most of traffic comes from usa, germany, etc.

Whether you can use video game content for monetization depends on the commercial use rights granted to you by the license from the applicable video game publisher. Some video game publishers may allow you to use all video game content for commercial use and confirm such permission in their licensing agreements.
In other licensing agreements, publishers may not grant commercial rights for videos that simply show game play for extended periods of time. For these licensing terms, the use of video games must be minimal unless the associated step-by-step commentary provides instructional and/or educational value and is strictly tied to the live action being shown.

why should this not be able. As long as you get views it does not matter.
Dang, that's terrific, Bandai Namco is game publisher in my case (Android game)

Yes it was new for me also, but I managed to monetize channel with majority of video without commentary, but some of them have commentary
Maybe you can try to do one video with commentary and other without, it may work
I did poor commentary in one my vids, but i have over 150 plus vids. Let's hope for the best.
