Hello guys, I wanted to ask you about something that I've heard lately but still i don't if that's true or not.
I've heard that there are people who run a list with phone numbers in a software than just click a button, the person who launch that software and call people in their mobile phones get paid for every single call that will be answered.
As I heard people are making pretty much money with this method.., So the question is ... Is there any software or something that can really do this, or these are just lies ?

As far as getting paid for each answer I don't know...

I do know that an autodialer will ring all the phone numbers you add to the list with a pre-recorded message or will automatically transfer the call to a person if someone picks up the phone, but it is not just a software you'll need phone lines, a PBX and other things.

I've never heard of getting paid for every call answered, but also interested to see if it's true.
 
This is similar to robo-calling and if you piss off the wrong people, you could get in trouble. Deep trouble that is.

In Kosovo, a lot of peoples said that they got calls from some big numbers. I also got a call from a number +1xxxxxxxxxxx. I am sure that those calls are automated.I didn't answered to call, but some peoples said that nobody respond to call.And call lasted 10-15 seconds.

Yes exactly, that's why I came up with this question, that happened to me too, even to a lot of people that i know, so just wanted to know if there's a way that they get pay if someone answer his call !
 
I know about SMS marketing. I got an SMS for an offer to a restaurant, but it's in the next city so I didn't respond.
 
Why would not it be true? Imagine you manage to scrape tons of phone numbers on a daily basis, you know you can make a shit ton of money by reaching them via txts/calls/etc.

If I had that, I would most likely pay a bunch of monkeys to verify all of the numbers...
 
paying for just "answered calls" would not make any sense (maybe in really big numbers it would), I think you had to misunderstand something

They call maybe more than 50.000 people at a time.. probably 25k will answer or idk..
 
I highly doubt it that they will pay for a blank call :S
If they try to sell you something then YES but what is the point of making calls and just not advertising something???
 
That's what i'm trying to know.. They just call you, no one talks, than they hang up
 
It actually works. You get a bulk calling service that can put any number in caller id, and you set that number to premium rate number from service provider like this

There must be some truth to it. I got a call from +1 020 363 00502

On looking it up I found it is from a state in US, cant remember the name I think it was Vegas, but any American could correct me here.

On searching up the number, I found a forum where someone said you pick up this number and you are charged $3!!

But as someone above said, if you piss off the wrong people ,you will be in BIG TROUBLE! Just imagine calling MI5/MI6 chief :D
 
Stay away from those scams. You are here to learn how to do proper SEO, not how to scam people.
 
Yea that's exactly why i'm among you guys, and thanks to BHW i'm learning some new things, because i've started from scratch.
 
If you had the numbers and the software to call them then why would you just be paid to do so?
You would market your own unique brand.
