If I share my Amazon affiliate homepage link, will I receive commissions for any affiliate eligible products they search for and purchase?

Pretty sure you're only getting commisions for 'indirect qualified sales', if you're not linking to a specific categeory. Meaning you're getting 1%, instead of 5-20% (depending on the category).
But in general: yes, that's how the SiteStripe links work - you link to the store, you get a commision on purchases.

Why not? Amazon's affiliate cookie lasts for 24 hours. When you send someone through your affiliate link, you'll earn a commission on whatever they purchase within that time frame.

Yes, if someone clicks your Amazon affiliate homepage link, a cookie is placed on their device. You’ll earn commission on any eligible product they purchase within 24 hours, not just the ones you linked as long as they don’t click another affiliate link after yours.
 
Yes you will receive commissions for affiliate. Amazon place a cookie for your affiliate link.
 
You'll receive commissions if the cookie doesn't expire. But it could be a red flag if you send a lot of traffic to home page (like pop-up ads or redirects). You should be careful about your source of traffic.
