Can someone please explain these blackhat backlinks?

Hi,

Just checking out some payday backlinks and came across a website currently ranking no 1 in the UK for "payday loans". Looking at their backlink profile I am kinda confused on how they pull it off.

They have a load (thousands and thousands) of hidden links (position:absolute;top:-9999px) on reputable websites, and it seems they got them all within a couple of days.

Is this hacking? A dodgy script all these websites use? Something else?

If anyone could give me an insight that would be great.

Those are footer backlinks from high PR websites with low OBL.
Most websites on hot niches like this one are ranking on dozens of keywords with those type of backlinks.

I can place such backlinks, send me a pm and we can plan the linkbuilding strategy :)
 
I wouldn't post the URL if I were you, no need to out it. It might be the site from someone here...

I checked the backlinks, i don't think its from Sape network, i recently bought 100 sape links and most of them are visible on pages and 80% of them are in footer.

Whereas no 1 payday site has almost all hidden links and hardly any link in footer, definitely not a Sape network links.

Check expoitdb for CMS and version
Exploit the exploits

Very easy to do, but really you don't want to be defacing sites and linking to a company that the feds can subpoena. Don't do this unless you're really covered.

Those are sape network backlinks. i wouldn't say 100% those backlinks from Sape network BUT Sape got these types of sites on their network :)

Are u sure they are sape? My spider sense suspects something else is going on. Another 1 is number 1 now. 30k links in 1 day. Hidden links on really big corporate websites surely can't be sape?

1, Create a simple and free Joomla plugin.
2, Find a way to insert any backlink to the sites that use your plugin. Php's file_get_contents will do the trick and if you pass the current page's URL, you can display (or just include) different things on different pages.
3, Add your hidden backlinks to high PR sites with low OBL to rank your sites in no time AND/OR sell those links.
4, Profit.

100% true, most of the sape links are visible in footer and you will generally find viagra, porn links on most of the sape network sites, but this payday site has hidden links from some high authority sites.
 
those are not sape backlinks and I pro know how they do it. Some of them are hacks but the most as said before are plugins, themes and so on. But heck, thats illegal, changing the content of another site without their knowledge or no?
