can someone give me a better understanding on how to create themes?

i need a better way of understanding on how to creating wordpress themes for websites can anyone teach me on how to create them better i would apprecate that?

 

There are some useful tutorials on youtube.

 

You'd need to know CSS and some other languages such as PHP. Personally I wouldn't take the time to design your own WordPress theme - I'd just get a free theme or a premium theme.

 

Learn some html and css, then you can edit other themes

Compete tutorial

Step2:
Google: "tutorial psd to html"
Complete tutorial

Step3:
Google: "tutorial html to wordpress"

Step4:
Install on your Wordpress installation.

That will teach you everything you need to know!
