Hey guys, I was recently doing some keyword research and I came across this microniche site (xfactor style) that was well ranked for its keyword among fairly strong sites, and I was curious to see if I could learn anything from it's backlinking strategy. cordlessdrillbatteries. biz On further investigation, I noticed that it has a ton of backlinks from random generic blogs that are very simple and are autoblogs that scrape content. Each blog just has a ton of scraped articles and each article links to a different website. A few examples: zhongguohong888 .com retireeroadrunners .org orangetech .info jrkayembe .com I'm sure you get the picture. I was wondering if anyone knew how this was done or what sort of tools that are being used here. I'm not very familiar with any of the "expensive" tools like SENuke, Xrumer, etc, so I wouldn't be able to recognize it. My best guess is that these domains are expired domains that are bought for their existing backlink/PR power and then turned into autoblogs purely for backlinking. Does anyone have any guesses/insight into how this process is managed (because of the large number of sites I'm assuming it's all centrally controlled somewhere). It looks really cool and extensive, but also quite expensive to start up. However, I can see how it can be invaluable to have a large blog farm at your disposal. Anyways, I'd really appreciate any insight that you guys might have into this system/scheme. Thanks!
