For the same reason you drink a beer - because buying a ticket or two is FUN.
I find it funny that somehow you can rationalize her writing down the exact number she was going to win ($112 million), buying 2 tickets and winning exactly that much money was just luck. You really seem to stretch the imagination, dear. And she's not the only one.
Psychic abilities don't work 100% of the time, obviously. Do a little research before making assumptions please.
