Can someone explain this? "Energy"

I always wonder why closed minded skeptics always assume they KNOW how psychic powers work versus actually asking the psychics themselves. That's like saying "if gravity is real then it should be able to make this apple move sideways." A stupid, ignorant assumption not adhering to the scientific method.

Obviously you have no scientific training so allow me to elucidate you. The scientific method: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_method

1. MAKE AN OBSERVATION -

Not assume you already know how a particular phenomenon works. So don't ask me to tell you which hooker you'll be picking up in an hour, to be frank I have no interest in stepping into your world. You first ask me what I can do, if I'm willing to do it and make an observation.

2. Formulate a hypothesis.

Think of a creative reason why you're experiencing what you're experiencing. As a closed minded skeptic, your default should always be "swamp gas" or maybe weather balloons, whatever nonsense you're cooking up these days.

To be honest I get so tired of repeating myself that I think it's just easier if I add you to my block list like the rest of the muppets.

In other words: you got nothing. The test that I gave you, is a variation of a test given to all members of the OTO and the AA at the Adeptus minor stage. In every recorded case, that I am aware of, the initiate would have been better off describing the person from the cut of the coat they were handed.

You are a fake and a fraud.

If you believe in Reiki.. then it makes sense. As thats a method of healing without touching someone.

Kind of like ho'oponopono n that story about how that dude 'fixed' a whole prison full of degenerates without ever meeting a single one of them.. just sent the mojo out into the universe and erased their bad deeds.

To me it sounds like an easy way to suck money out of yuppies wallets..

If you want some positive energy.. just paypal me the green and ill send you ataboys through skype all day long.

We can't compare everything to science actually, i'm pretty sure we are not even 1% of things discovered in this world.
so let me first tell what i'm thinking of these people.
i tried something called "past life regression" and have seen it for real so .. so.. maybe this is truth. that's why this is an interesting topic to talk.
Looking for some professional answers ;) who have mastered this technique

Hello my name is Marshall, I have made very good videos on this subject, and if you would just take a moment of your time, I think you would find that we are both part of a chosen few, destined to see the light where others are blind. Just a moment of your time.

Would you post that word doc in the lounge session, here?
You will be surprised to see the outcome.. :)

You need to start a thread in freebies giveaway section

TLDR: I'm not making up. But less than 2% of people, die-hard scientists, refuse to believe in things that violate the scientific method. The other 98+% directly correlates to our ape counterparts.

You mean the apes are religious? :o If not, it looks like you got it in the wrong order.

You forget the most important point, and that is that the creator of the hypothesis he/she proposes has to provide proof so that "closed minded skeptics" like myself can test and scrutinize your hypothesis and bring their findings to the table for others to scrutinize, that is how science works

There seem to lack that "evidence" in this thread, so all energy nonsense is, is plain woowoo that is not even close to anything scientific, have your believes about energies and spirits and whatever woo your involved in..... Have at it!!!!

But please don't drag science into this.

I read an article about a guy who used to sell something similar to this on eBay. If anyone wants to read it: http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2015/12/ebay-fortuneteller/421542/

Basically this kid knew it was garbage but he wanted/needed money so he kept doing it. It's pretty interesting.

I always think people who sell this stuff are scammers anyway. If they give it away like pewep, then they're the real deal.

They still use the ancient buzzword "energy"? How pathetic.

Where is synergy, leverage, new normal, big data and deep learning?

In the USA, in order get 1st amendment protection do you also have to believe in whatever it is yourself or if its something that people believe in you will get the protection? I'm consider dabbling in it somewhat in a few months to add another source of income while I'm in uni.

No. You just have to be really, really convincing.

Reading into it, it seems protected but when you cross the line into confidence schemes is when things become illegal.

Thanks boo :). By the way I'm in 100% agreement. I learned everything I know from my teacher who didn't charge me one single red penny. Not a single thin dime. I give away what I know for free because I feel like it's degrading to sell spiritual knowledge. Others will disagree but that's just how I feel.
