can someone explain FL ratio?

I know how to calculate it, but what confuses me is if I have the same ratio for following and unfollowing, then wouldnt it cancel itself out? I am so confused. I saw somone say leave both at 1.50 and others have said to leave at 0. Aso, that its not good to follow and unfollow the same day. So every time I want it to unfollow I have to untick the follow box?

Not sure if the correct subforum, but since ive only used FL for IG, then I'm not sure if others have the ratio thing too.

ratio of followers to following
if lets say you have 1.5 ratio and you have 3000 followers it will only follow 1500 people max
if u have a ratio of 0 it will follow till max

I never use this feature. I leave mines at zero.

Better off leaving it at 0 then mass unfollowing after about 3-4 days.

As the above post stated, just leave it at 0 and mass unfollow for a few days

Thanks guys. How many can I unfollow a day? I unfollowed about 500 on my 2 weeks old account and IG disabled following for me.
