Can someone explain cloaking on Facebook?

You're correct that cloaking typically applies to landing pages, not the ad creations themselves. Facebook will review the actual ad content (images/videos), so using deepfakes directly in ads is risky and likely to lead to disapproval or account bans. The common approach is to use compliant, whitehat creatives for the ads and then redirect users to a cloaked landing page that contains the blackhat content.

From what I understand, you can only cloak the landing pages and not the actual ads themselves - is that correct?

I'm trying to run some ads using deepfakes but I already know Facebook won't approve those. Is the way to get around this by using whitehat images/videos for the ads and then when the target audience clicks on the ad, the cloaked landing page can have all the blackhat stuff (including the deepfakes)?

Or is there a way to cloak the ad creatives we use for Facebook ads too so Facebook employees see a regular image but the target audience can see a deepfake creative?
You can set restrictions on displaying on the same internal network IP, which is often a way to prevent employees from seeing your company's Facebook ads.

In fact, I am also running a black hat. There is no way to hide your creativity. The metaphorical way is incomprehensible to customers and affects conversion. The direct way cannot pass the review. This is a problem faced by all of us. Currently Facebook is very strict about this type of advertising, and I’m also looking for ways to do it

Very well explained

Making a video and using a photo at the beginning of the video for about 1 second will not get scanned by Facebook or very little.

you could try using a normal image that has some relevance to your product and have the primary text and description to describe the product you sell and redirect the visitors to the blackpage once they click the ads . or else try doing proper targeting and using some cl;ickbait image to get the visitors to click . else you can try something called Covert Advertising to hide your ad inside a bigger image . like have your ad image on the shirt thats on a guy .

Cloaking hides your Page's actual content. Users will see it when they click on the ad. Content reviewers and verifiers will see a healthy page that complies with Facebook policies. To do this you just need to Change the destination URL page To take users somewhere else When they click on the link

Hiding on Facebook allows users to control what content they don't want to appear on their personal timeline or in the section you see. When you hide a post, it won't be completely gone, but it won't appear in your feed anymore.

Cloaking on Facebook typically involves hiding the actual content of the website the user intends to target when they click on the ad. Content verifiers will see a healthy page while regular users will see your actual ads.
what about creative
