Can someone clarify the unlisted method for me?

I keep reading conflicting things on various threads. From what I understand the video must be unlisted from the start of the upload, never going public once

You place that unlisted video in any playlist, blast it with views and likes, then finally make it public?

It's not dead it only works a couple times now.

@OP you will need to see how much the new competition has and go over it, if it has hundred of thousands choose something else.

Yeah, sure its not dead, that's if you want to burn through accounts, getting constantly ghosted and end up with about 20 failed attempts and one medium ranked video.

It won't work always But sometimes it does! Certainly HR views help to get more views!
 
maybe this trick working not for seo purpose as long time ago, but only if you want pump it your channel with your monetizable active and so you must do it this process with the monetizable views disabled and later the views and like are send it as you want ofc later active the monetization and i think your account is safe, i try it with a channel with a monetizable activate for 2 weeks and for now working like a charme :D
