is it real? or is it just manipulation?
like in the past where you could fake PR?

Any method that offers you to quickly improve DA/DR is risky. You could get a high spam score or even get a penalty from Google. It's better to stick to standard link building practices either WH or BH.

It is real manipulation. It is pure spam, it does not increases your SEO. It will only skyrockets your domain's toxic score to very high.

Totally disagree. Manipulating the DR/DA, it's a thing people do daily -> Even I did, he did, they did. Penalties no, Rankings no.

It's like doing surgery for your boobs(A "luxury" in terms of websites) - People who sell guest posts, etc., do this "manipulating" thing.

Spam score is a myth and google don't care...in my opinion this is increased not because of those redirects, is increased because of where these links are posted or how these are indexed.
Increasing DA/DR is risky for who? Because google didn't care about these metrics provided by moz, ahrefs, etc...this is just for us to have some idea how powerful is one domain and to make some $$$ with guests posts and etc.
A shortcut is, increase DA/PA/DR/TF/CF/Alexa, have few articles, add one button/form/section about "write for us", "guest post", etc...and wait to be contacted.

Its just for the beauty sake. Doesn't help rankings.

i have watched some website i dont remember them, they used this method and all of them have spam score of 1% !

Check out these domains on Semrush for Toxic score.

It's just for vanity metrics Google won't pay any attention but it might make you look good to your clients or competitors ;)

so what does google pay attention to? how do you rank.

for an example.

how do you build an high DA SITE? does it cost money

Why would you do this?
Is like "fake it till you make it".
Having such high metrics you can go in many directions:
-create your own PBN, selling guests posts, selling the PBN, exchange links with other PBN's etc...
-website flip
-let publishers/editors to publish free content and filter by plagiarism,quality...than you will get also some traffic.
-target one specific niche and contact websites from 1,2,3,4... serp position. And ask their permission to write an article about them with a backlink...once you did this will be on any seo raport, and you will be contacted by others who play in that niche.
-give access to SEO Agencies to publish content automatically and get paid
-rank&rent locally
-etc

Manipulating DA/DR works only for guest post selling & domain flipping, but not for regular SEO. Google collects a lot of other info and doesn't give penalty purely based on manipulating metrics. But you should never call them safe as tomorrow Google may release a new update and give a surprise gift to all such websites.

DA/DR is a myth for google too. They have their own metrics which they're not sharing with the public. We use DA/DR/TF because we need some metrics to compare one site to other. You can manipulate metrics to sell guest posts or flip domains, but they are not useful for regular SEO.

It depends on several other factors. I saw a website that used Google & other redirect links in Tier 2, and got a spam score of >30%. It only has parasites & web 2.0s in Tier 1. Manipulating DA/DR is a risk for regular webmasters without any rewards.

Again, totally wrong. Even if there's a new update, it won't affect you because those redirect links to manipulate the DA/DR will never get indexed by Google. What am I talking... Google won't even notice them. So yeah, you're safe.

The only reason to inflate DA is to then try to sell a lie.
Mostly, it will be to sell crummy guest posts, or to maybe make a domain or site at auction look more valuable.

Google not only crawls but also indexes them. Remember that Google indexes a lot more web pages than Ahrefs and Moz. I've ranked both short links and redirect links on Google. You can rank these redirects for low-comp kws by using them in articles.

You can believe whatever you want based on your experience, but you shouldn't come to a conclusion that what you haven't seen yet doesn't exist.
