Can reversing keywords in domain give the same results?

Hey guys question here. Have tried the search function but could not find a real
answer. The problem is, the domain I want, is taken, yet if I reverse the
keywords, it is available. It consists of 2 keywords, and one of them is a city.
e.g. I want to rank for barber vancouver , but that is taken, would vancouver
barber.com rank me for those keywords too? As the exact keywords are both in
there..

If not, is there something that I could add, which would make it
rank under the keywords? I think during my search I have read that adding site, or x
at the end of the domain would work, but reversing if its possible to reverse,
I'd rather do that!

You're talking about EMD, or exact match domains. EMDs only work (to the limited extent they work) when you match them to the exact keywords. Order only matters if users only tend to enter the words in a particular order. If they do, then your reverse match won't be considered an exact match. If the words are truly interchangeable, then it won't matter what the order is.

I don't think anyone really knows the answer to this question, but I have a feeling that anything other than EMD.com is probably a negligible benefit over something brandable.

I have heard so many people say that EMD + word isnt the same as EMD, but I swear by the fact it must still carry some power because I constantly rank for tougher keywords with only a few backlinks on the root. I never rank that easy comparted to competitors on inners

There is always a way to do the thing. If you want to do something then try not to do it in old fashion try to do it in your own style.

I think having a url that looks professional and makes sence out weights any emd benefits,
