Can repetitive content work with videos?

Well, I want to make videos playing a specific game but there is only so much I can do with this game, so after a while it will be become boring and repetitive, so I wonder is it worth it? can you drive traffic like this? doing the same thing again and again?

No, if the content is repetitive and boring, then you just can't drive traffic to it. The piece of content should be unique and engaging to drive traffic to.
 
Think as if you were the customer. Would you like to watch the same vid again and again?

It would really be tough to expound in one game. Why not think of playing a different game after exhausting that first one? In the game niche, it's easier to monetize in platforms than in a game itself (well except for Minecraft, I think. LOL)

That's what I notice, if you focus entirely on the gaming aspect, you either need consistent unique high challenging material or multiple lets play videos, those who spam games even on a high level basically monetize their personality and not the game itself.

Exactly. That's why it is best that when that game you are trying to monetize with is near the brink, think of another game to review. Create a review using different platforms (PS vs Xbox or something).
 
Look, the internet is already exploding with quality content. Boring stuff simply won't cut it. However, I'd answer otherwise if you were completing one level at each videos.
 
The content must be unique. Repeating will not lead to success. You can lose your followers if you ignore it.
 
Yeah sure man, people love to use their time to watch boring videos.
 
As with anything else, repetitive video content will bore your viewers/readers/visitors and it will impact your traffic in a negative way. Try to find a way to make your videos unique, engaging, and fresh. Otherwise, you're just losing time and wasting your effort. Ask yourself this - if you don't want to waste your time watching the same thing again and again, why would someone else?
 
People would watch plenty of ''repetive'' gameplay videos but not necessarily for the gameplay. It is often the personality associated with it, the given commentary or extremely high level of play which is worth watching for people to learn from it. For example, i like to watch a pro player for a mobile game. It is the same match over and over and i can dream the characters... but the given commentary and hidden tips is what keeps me hooked! Good luck!
 
Any business needs returning clients to make it successful. Sharing the same content over and over again will send them away. This is a dead end.
 
you should make your videos in different series of every game, people make many videos on how to section related to games, you can solve those problem in any specific game and record that in video, below have some searches that i found for you to work on, i don't know which games you are playing right now but how to videos rank very well for a long time and people always need solution to their problem so work to solve people problem and in that way you will get traffic and many people will engage with your content too:

Even Google does not like the same content for every video. So keep in mind that you should use different content, at least it has 70% unique words.
 
Make it broader, don't limit yourself. And later, you can or you won't add more stuff/video material.
 
You can make same videos but edit with them , it will be perfect with explanation .
