Hello.
Can Proxifier with 1 https proxy replace a vpn?
What i'm asking is if using proxifier with a https proxy will encrypt stuff and isp will not know what websites you access and other things.

Thanks!

It would probably work. However, there's always risk involved if you don't control the proxy (ie. logs, malicious setup, etc.). If you DO control the proxy, then nothing stops you from setting up a VPN in the same server/vps. That'd be the safest bet, IMO. I connect from work to a VPN I set up at home, that way I can use my computer while at work without concerns for my privacy.

At work they can create screenshots with your desktop :)

I'm not sure if https encryption is enough.

I only use my desktop computer for work-related stuff (as I'm sure they have remote desktop viewing enabled on it). I connect my laptop via wi-fi to the network and then connect to my home VPN. At work I have a corporate internet connection, and at home a 20mbit fiber optics line, so it works seamlessly and it's anonymous enough for my needs. :)
