Can previous proxy/IP be traced?

Hi, I had a question on IP tracing.

For example,

On 1 IP address (let’s say my home WiFi), I connect YouTube, gmail, etc.

Next, I disconnect my WiFi and turn on my proxy. Can a new website, like Facebook, Shopify etc, see my previous IP address I connected to?

I don't know it for sure. But I would guess that yes, they can trace the addresses and they story all the history about you.
At least, just look how personalized context ads work, and it will be obvious that at least Google collects all possible data about users and analyzes big data.
 
Technically no, but based on previous collected informations (browser fingerprint, etc.) they can assume it's the same user even tho the ip address changed

I’m talking about joining a complete new website. Will that site know I’ve had a different IP in the past?
 
Yeah it's safe to assume they're tracking pretty much everything
 
short answer - yes

long answer - hell yes

there are endless measures you can take to get around it though.
 
No, by disconnecting from your home Wi-Fi and connecting through a proxy, they won't remember the IP address.
