Can ou predict sales from gravity?

Yeah I tend to sort by gravity on CB and I wonder if it's any good. Im curious about this as well.

There is no bulletproof way to determine the quality of an offer. Gravity measures the number of different affiliates that have each made at least one sale, and how recently that has been the case.

As such, offers with high gravity TEND to have a better conversion rate, because it means the long-tail affiliates ... ones who are sending fewer clicks ... are still getting at least a sale.

No there is no way to tell for certain. You need to use your own judgement on what to promote based on the following critieria:

1)Popularity - if its on of the most popular products in its niche then sales are good.
2)Gravity - If many people are making sales then another good indicator of a good converting product
3)Launch date - How long as the product been in the market? The longer its been around then means its a quality product taking 1) and 2) into account.
4)Sales page - Does the sales page look good?
5)Product - Would you buy this product? Do you like the product and think it has good potential for sales.
6)If a new product, does it look like it has alot of potential? These are the best as competiton is low at the start and if you hit a top selling product early then you will make good money before others get on board.
