Simple question everyone:
Can Organic Content Survive On YouTube Now?

I feel everyone's angling with the SMM. Buying fake views, fake likes, etc may be the new 'organic' vs what is really natural.

How can someone noraml exist with a regular upload while people are enjoying 85% retention rates on their entire channel? And tons of embeds and the url Nuked with spammy links

I'm starting my own channel tomorrow, and this is really interesting, I know that I'm not gonna use panels at first for sure
 
I never used any fake views, likes, comments etc. on my Videos.

I pushed a couple of mine naturally to the front page with 2-3 million views, on a channel with only 3,000 subscribers.

If you pushed it, how is it naturally?

You mean with Press Releases or something?

I had a background in google seo, studied my ass off learning YouTube seo, how the algorithm worked, how to get into key categories and what ranking factors had the biggest pull. Then I tested.
 
Sounds like a sales pitch vs somebody being real. Just my opinion.

My YouTube channel has 30k subscribers and over 25MM views; even though I deleted several videos.

I went to the YT studio space to work with creators.

Funny thing.. Not even sure think it's possible to thrive without 'tricks'

No one is going to buy ur bullshit. Just create good content optimize it for ur keywords and try to link it on social media,especially reddit.

First of all, if you’re talking about me when you said “sounds like a sales pitch” you’re pretty far off. Just because I shared the process of what I did, and didn’t spoon feed him the ratios of likes to dislikes, retention rate, etc. doesn’t mean I am trying to sell you or him something. I shared this to spark a light bulb in his head to oh i don’t know, maybe use the search bar in the top right to find other people’s methods, journeys and discusssions to do his own research just like I did.

There is also a difference between building a reputation for yourself in a community for a certain skill set, and actively trying to sell you a YouTube seo course. I don’t have any courses at all, I am focused on B2B services.

Ranking people’s videos on an IM forum, or selling some $19 course isn’t high ticket enough for me to pursue, let alone be scaleable and sustainable.. lol.

Yes . Reddit is SO POWERFUL with everything today. yet it goes so undermentioned.

There's more to growing a YouTube channel than just YouTube views and high retention rates.

I quoted what you said. I thought it was about me, because there isn’t really anyone else in the thread.
Accusing me of trying to trick you out of your monies haha.

It’s not a big deal man, I’m a straight up guy who likes to exchange knowledge. I just have a pet peeve for people who accuse me of “trying to sell them a course” or who are ungrateful for the information I did decide to share because I didn’t spoon feed them the answer they were looking for.

I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say, too many people forget there's a huge human-element involved with YouTube. Just optimizing for the YouTube algorithm doesn't guarantee success, content actually needs to be good.

Exactly. Everything has its place. Some people think you can take a 45 second cat compilation and rank it for “cool videos” because they’re buying views and likes lmaooo.

THIS. Not to mention the most traffic a YouTube channel gets is through suggested videos, and a YouTube channel's videos don't get promoted as suggested videos until some channel authority has been built up (along with good video SEO, click-through rates, retention, etc.).

Couldn’t have said it better myself. 97% of the views I was getting were coming from suggested. Search rankings is a jump start, not the gasoline and battery.
