Can one develop and sell starter site

I'm contemplating on doing such like creating sites for businesses and sell not the usual sending proposal.

I've seen alot of new/starter sites on flippa, and it seems to work for them sellers

Even making a small amount of profit will not only help you sell it but make it more valuable.

Yes, this can be done but you really have to build your brand and MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE in YOUR IDEAS to make it worth your time

It won't be something you can make valuable overnight, i'd guess

Once you have steam and testimonies of major successes, I'd think you can do it

I think ALL OF US have had these ideas in time at some point . Instead of selling our techniques, selling a realized product... But it' easier to sell the techniques.

Of course you can.
In BHW Marketplace alone, there is already quite a big demand (judging from all the sample requests) for where people create starter sites for others.

Starter sites have a huge market and demand just look at the number of starter sites sold every hour on Flippa marketplace.

I am a buyer for starter sites and why I do it is for two reasons:
1) Someone has already built out the initial pages, design, menus, etc.
2) The site has aged and will be getting out of the sandbox much faster.

The second point is the most important part. If I'm getting out of the sandbox 6-9 months faster or skipping it entirely, that's worth A LOT to me

There are already some services, check web design,misc marketplace

People have success selling them on flippa...

There's tons of Starter Sites on sale at places like Flippa.

Just go there and click Starter Sites and you will see all sorts of sites on offer.

A word of advice though: Just because you list a Starter Site within the target price range that they're listed in doesn't mean that it will automatically sell.

Because a lot — and I would say most — of the Starter Sites listed on Flippa don't use original themes. They don't use original content and are basically just clones of previous sites that were sold.

The only difference is really the domain name.

So if you are looking to find awesome domain names and then just tack on a website with repeated content on them, you can give Starter Sites a shot.

But be prepared for the relisting cost. When you study the sites that sell, a lot of times they don't sell the first time around.

They keep getting relisted until the person selling them finally uploads them, and it would seem that they're making hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I've seen one guy's profile where it says that his total sales for the year are $180,000.

But you have to factor in how many times they had to relist their sites, and how many sites they handled.

There's definitely a lot of work that needs to be done before you make it big in that space, but the potential is there. It's an interesting opportunity.

Another approach you could take is to offer something different like custom content, custom themes, possibly even existing social media traffic.

The closer you get to an established site and the farther away and the older your site is, the more you can charge for your website.

The return on effort has to be there.

I would add that if you can get even a minimal amount of proven traffic going to the site than you are more likely to get better prices for it, even if it is only a couple months old.

Yes, you can do it, like everything else you have to work to see success. As mentioned above, most starter sites on flippa don't sell easily. Grind hard and you will curve a space for yourself

yes you can and "Wordpress" is the good option for creating your own sites with various available features in it. wordpress is good option because from it you not need to more work on coding if you know developing skills in coding you can also do some changes in that site from there but without coding it is very good.
