Can Monero replace Bitcoin in long term?

I don't think Monero is capable of replacing Bitcoin. At this point, I don't believe there's any cryptocurrency that can truly replace Bitcoin.

Monero is strong in privacy, but it lacks Bitcoin’s adoption, liquidity, and institutional trust. Maybe nope

There’s no coins out there that will ever replace Bitcoin, it still has over 50% of total market dominance, XMR is also being actively delisted by pretty much all big CEXs as well.

In my opinion, Monero has the potential to replace Bitcoin in the long term.

Bitcoin is no longer truly anonymous and is subject to strict regulations.

Monero and Zcash are the only major cryptocurrencies that are currently still truly anonymous and can practically never be regulated.

Essentially, Monero is today what Bitcoin was in the 2010s.

What do you think about it?
There is no possibility that monero replace bitcoin in long term.

Never, BTC is actively being accepted across countries/governments and institutions while the opposite is happening with XMR.

I think Monero has bright future ahead as far anonymity is concerned however it will not replace Bitcoin in nearest future...

The only way something will replace bitcoin is if their infighting drives them to fuck the code up. Otherwise bitcoin will remain king.

Monero being anonymous doesn't give it the chance to become bigger than Bitcoin.

xmr won't replace btc because they serve completely different purposes now. btc is basically digital gold for institutions and normies, while xmr is the actual functional currency people use when they want to get things done without eyes on them. the delistings from major exchanges actually make it better for its actual use case because it keeps the price relatively stable and away from massive institutional manipulation. zcash is trash though, opt-in privacy ruined it years ago. xmr will always have its place but it doesn't need to beat btc to be successful.
