    Hello,

Is it possible for a website/technology to detect the use of macros, like detecting and matching how all the users have same mouse movements and exact clicks at certain x/y. Do you think google can detect macros?

    Thanks

Yes they can, and yes they will.

Google does this regularly and has done so for many years.

    It's possible.

Not sure exactly what macros are you talking about, but if it's iMacros, you can use the default, conventional recording mode instead of XY recording or if you're using the XY recording, you can make the coordinates random with limitations of course. You just need to know the minimum value and max value of the coordinates (just record a few macros by clicking on different places of the desired place and look at the coordinates), which result in clicking on a button for instance. If you know those numbers, those will be the limits and you can use the EVAL command to generate different random numbers for the coordinates to click between those limits, so the coordinates won't always be the same.

Should work but too much hassle, man power is easier in this case.

Well, it's more natural for sure. Although recording a macro isn't a too big effort, unless it's something complicated you need to automate, in that case iMacros might not be eligible for that.

I wouldn't worry much because of getting caught using macros. It's a lot more possible, that you will get caught on a different way. Websites can identify you through your browser using easier methods such as webrtc leak, canvas fingerprinting. There are browser addons to prevent both.
