Try Google this "How I Generated **2000++ Visitors / Day in 3 months". You could find an article from WF. I think it would be useful to you.
 
Nah people are building links just because they haven't got anything better to do.
I mean seriously, what kind of stupid question is this? :rolleyes: Please read some seo basic guide.
 
There are two ways you can get traffic from link building, first, you can get visitors from the link you made, e.g. someone click the link pointing to your site. second, by link building, it aids your site to rank higher in search engine thus getting organic traffic from search engine like google, yahoo etc.
 
it is a stupifd question no doubt but I am a neophyte at SEO and most replies are quite informative

hahaha.. Of course you can bring a lot of traffic on your website, it is one of the most common and useful tactic of SEO. Post your websites on different forum and blogs related to your niche to drag visitors.
 
Well its Just for increasing traffic and then sales etc :)
 
Yeah, if you get to page one and your keyword has a nice monthly searches, then you will get more traffic. hit #1 and you will get even more traffic.
 
Proper link building can make your site to rank high in google which in turn can generate traffic to your site...

You are asking a very very...very broad question. It's like asking "If I get a job will I get money? And if I get money how much?". It all depends on what niche, what competition, how much traffic, what methods of linkbuilding etc. You should be more specific.

Currently as your question is pretty broad the only answer would be "Yes".
 
Link building is one of the most effective tools for getting traffic.
 
Of course but you should know what you're doing, otherwise it could also spell disaster. Research is very necessary before link building.
