Can Keyword Density Be A Problem When Doing SEO?

@AceCanoe
keyword density matters and it is different for every niche. also, you can no longer look at keyword density as a stand alone metric by itself. google is now using a multi-variable indexing, which is very difficult to figure out. a combination of different variables such as keyword density, H tag usage, description, # of times of your keyword in <p> tag and <a> tag, and whole bunch of other variables results in where you place in serp. This was easy to figure out early last year, but not anymore. if you want to move 1 stop forward, I suggest to get yourself on POP or CORA report for your website. also, you can use this free tool as a starting point: https://www.keywordsheaven.com/on-page-tool/

as a starting point, try to be better than the average of the top 10 sites in your niche. dont be the highest. also stop using wrong spelling of your keyword, because you will lower your quality score.

lastly, semrush has a very powerful onsite optimization tool. take a look at this by @fasttrak

A keyword density of 1 - 3% with semantic keywords with the quality of unique content is good.

Keyword density is one of the important factor. Also over doing it is also a problem. Make sure you are doing it to the optimum level

If you place every keyword naturally, it is not problem. But your blog will compete to rank top.

it can be, internal links, related posts can affect ranks heavily, the way the keywords is distributed is they way google understand what your post mean. If you repeat too much, means unnatural and google will ignore, if almost don't repeat means google can't understand what the post is about then ignore it also. The middle of both sides is the way to go.
