Can I use Webmail on Gmail

Reading emails on webmail as rounde sucks. Is it possible to read all the emails on gmail?

I tried the method to add the account on gmail, but still the emails came only to webmail and not the gmail.

Hope it makes sense.

I believe you can't just add the email account, you have to use gmail as the email host via google apps service.
 
If you only want to read, just add a forwarder for that email address to your Gmail in your cPanel.

If you also want to send mail as that email address, you'll need to configure the smtp settings in Gmail.
It's easy, you just need the username (= the email address most of the time), password, host (mail.domain.com for example) and port (465 most of the time).
You'll find these settings in your cPanel.

I think creating a new Gmail Account might work for this. When they ask if you want to create a new gmail account, you choose "I would rather use my own" or something like that.

I agree about using thunderbirds too rather than gmail.
