Hey guys, is it okay if I pick up my old domain that expired three years ago? I'm just curious to know if the domain will perform well on serp because it doesn't have many backlinks before it expired.

Just check to make sure it hasn't been picked by someone else in these 3 years and used for something that would lead to a penalty

@Xtencion if you're going for an expired domain, you want to vet it properly. You have the basic checks: anchors, backlink profile, wayback. If all of that is clean, now you want to do one more thing. go to hosterstats.com and check for the history. how many times was it registered? what hosts were using this domain, if you see something that ends with a .cn or .jp then that is a big red flag. Sometimes wayback doesn't show everything, also some people register the domain again and restore the site from archive and use it as a PBN, so you won't be able to tell since it looks the same. Hope that helps.
