Hi all,
I'm currently running Scrapebox and trying to find google passed proxies. I can't find any. Can I still use Scrapebox?
Why do the proxies have to be Google Passed? For commenting? Article scraping?
Thank you

You'll need Google passed proxies for scraping URLs. if you don't have them Google will ban your IP for about 2 hours every couple of queries.

I also wanted to know something similar. I want to know everything that can be done with Scrapebox without using proxies. I want to use it just to scrape articles, and don't know if I need proxies for that.

I am now using private proxies for commenting and using the public proxies for harvesting and everything else.

Is it possible to comment on blogs with just anonymous proxies and not google passed?

Yes is possible. You don't need google passed proxies for posting. Make sure the proxies are private however.

Scrapebox itself can easily be utilized to obtain google passed proxies without having to process or acquire them through other means.

This software is state of the art and will never go old as it it constantly being updated, if you wait for v2 you can see the true power of this software.

I know I can look for Google passed proxies through Scrapebox (read the method), but... don't I need a Google passed proxy to look for proxies? Stupid I know.
Also, why is it bad to post from public proxies?

Googled passed proxies are needed to scrape URLs using Google search, without jamming up your own IP with Google. So yes you do need them for scraping G, BUT with the new Scrapebox it's got 20+ new search engines in it that don't seem to care how often an IP makes search queries, and they will find the same URLs that G would.

I just started playing around with it and I can download a few thousand proxies without any testing at all and scrape thousands of URLs with the other search engines.

To answer your question, yes you can use scrapebox without google passed proxies for scraping URLs, just don't post with them because they suck for that.
