Can i use paypal for a dating site ?

can i use paypal for a adult (Swingers/Escorts) dating site ?
If not what are the payment gateways who can process my payment

cpa*lead has a sistercompany with adult gateways

cpa*lead is reported in other threads as not genuine..
Could u pls provide any other ?

It's against Paypals TOS to use it for a dating site and I think that is because you can expect a large number of chargebacks. 2CO and Alertpay are popular alternatives but I don't know about their TOS. Webtopay and Paypay are also possibilities.

I ran a dating site online using PayPal. It wasn't allowed but whenever someone had a bad date or they got dumped or something weird happened, man did I get fuckered for it. I know PayPal seems to be king but I strongly urge people to go to their banks as their are a million options out there that will be so much more beneficial to your money making ways.

You can use paypal on a 'love' dating site but not an 'adult' dating site as paypal do not allow adult content. Google ccbill and zombaio if you want credit card processing. Best option is to get a merchant account, or several merchant accounts and spread the processing. But merchant accounts are not easy to get these days, you need a good trading history.

Don't be fooled by all the companies offering to set you up with a merchant account, loads will allow you to build up a nice wedge of money then freeze the account with some story of bank investigation. You will never see the money again. Best bet is deal direct with a bank and use a credit card gateway company like netbilling.

The last time that I checked on Paypals TOS, it wasn't allowed. But that was a few years ago. This is what I just found under their "acceptable use policy"...

I wouldn't use them. People do a lot of chargebacks on dating sites, and their chargeback fees will kill your ROI.

i use 2co for mine, its nice, just gotta do something to prevent chargebacks.

I can say that Paypal DOES approve dating sites (not adult). My dating site just got approved. Sent the email for pre-approval and it was accepted. Just make sure you have a functional website with support, terms and policy in place regarding your payment options.
