Can I use Bookmarking Demon without proxy?

Hi,
I just bought BMD and was wondering if I can use it without proxy. Will I have big chance to get ban by social bookmarking sites? If so could you please recommend any good proxy. Thank you.

Let me know how you go, I have been tossing up wheter to get it or just set up multiple only wire accounts...

you get a better success rate with proxys. I use: http://squidproxies.com/

Use this code in shopping cart: "bhwonly" (remove " ") thats for a 25% reoccuring discount.

I cant find a cheaper proxy provider than that for the quality private proxys you get.

How is squidproxies work compare to yourprivateproxy and anonymous-proxies? Thank you.
 
It depends how many sites your bookmarking. If you are only doing 1-2, it would probably be OK but if your doing more regularly it's a different story.

I have used YPP before and i wasnt impressed.

Squid are the best in my opinion + The owner is a member of this forum :)

you can set BMD to only post to one account per day on each bookmark site. That shouldn't get you banned.

Squidproxies should work, although on the forum they were reporting that some ip ranges weren't working. let squid know if you have problems and they should swap then out for you.

Side note...selecting categories is a pain in the rear. I just spent 3 hours setting 900 of them. There is a "choose first category listed" option, but it would have been better is it was random.

I just use the default settings.

250 max per run (settings)

And it is already set to randomize the links bookmarked.
I have dozens of accounts for each site, so I select all, and let it choose one randomly.

If you are wicked and find your IP banned from Social Bookmarking sites, you may be use of the proxy server function to bookmark your pages. Bookmarking sites restrict the number of accounts you can create per day. You need to use proxy servers to create more accounts
 
Its not recommended to use BMD without proxies to get better results and to be safe use proxies
 
Hmmm....yeah, I tried that a year ago and found my IP blacklisted on all WordPress sites and my IP was also listed on those "SpamCop" sites.
