Can I trust Copyscape?

It depends on the source of traffic you are targeting. If it's only (or primarily) Google, man don't just rely on copyscape. Do an exact search also. If you plan to stick with copyscape, just use their pro feature ($10 per 200 searches) to check duplicity.

The only problem with using phrase search in Google is it is limited to ten words.
But yes, it is the best way to make sure there are no other websites (which have been indexed by Google) that have the same content.

I also would point you to the Pro ( paid ) version of Copyscape. I'm not sure if the same holds for the free version, but in the pro an API can be set up to make things a lot easier. Haven't used the API though so cannot comment on it

I am using copyscape for over 3 years. It works great in my side. I never had issues on my blogs using it so I really recommend copyscape to do the job.

Hello All
This is my verdict about Copyscape... DO NOT RELY ON IT AT ALL..
What I did. Got the article from the page I will clone and plugged on Copyscape... Not Found
Did a exact match search on google and there it was...
Used the tool "smallseotool" like our fellow has suggested and guess what!! 0% Unique...

Now I'm wondering haw many article are out there, which has been relied on copyscape, and are getting down on SERP just because copyscape had failed...

Yes, you can rely on Copyscape - It`s one of the best when it comes to checking duplicate content.

i think you should try .... SmallSeoTools Plagiarism checker .. this is a good tool but i heard a thing about it that this tool saves our Article in databases and use it somewhere.
anyways i ain't confirm about it but however i heard about it from a SEO expert
Anyways this tool is good and i always use it.

Honestly Mate I can't any more... I might be the most known but not the best!! I think it has to used with other tools and of course google exact match.
As I said before... I copied one article from another site and passed on copyscape while on the other tools It hasn't ...
My final advice use it but check in another tool.. Otherwise can be too late

Dont worry its normal bro... maybe you copied some text or sentence from other site like that but no problem just try to not copy all the content.

This is a pretty useful site for checking if website content has been plagiarised. The Premium version works just fine. You can always rest assured that the text is authentic and original.

Copyscape is generally pretty good, but of course it's not ALWAYS gonna be right.

This is wired, I've also tried copyscape many times doesn't end up with any issues yet. Anyway, we can't believe tools all times some times manual reviews must be needed. Just remove the duplicate content.

Don't worry it's safe. Our team has been using it for years. What you should worry is your article directory, what if a writer copied a content from your already live content that will hurt your reputation.

Copy space is a plagiarism checker it doesn't help you all the time.
You have to think about your Site traffic maybe it doesn't work at some times what you do so try to focus on your manual content because it is more precious than other tools so try to avoid it.

Copyscape is the best tool for checking plagiarized content. Better double check on all search engines, pasting one paragraph or one sentence of a review.

as far as i'm concerned...a lot of big publications use copyscape to check articles..

There's problem with Copyscape, there is content on a page which is already indexed, but still there's no result from Copyscape for the same text.

I re-checked with small seo tool, the answer is different ( Image below )

Copyscape is good enuf for me in content analized. All my index sites by google is syndicated by authorised bot. We can count on Copyscape especially premium version.
