Can i transfer my blogspot to normal domain without losing traffic.

Hi Guys,

This is my first post

I am running 3 blogspot sites which are getting good traffic in recent days (aprx 40% from search engines).
monthly on an average of 30k-40k hits. Currently I am monetizing with cpm affiliates.
age of the blog - 2 = 7yrs and 1=6yrs

Now i am trying to change my blogspot sites to normal domains.( I have bought domain names in the same niche)

1. Is it advisable to convert it to normal domain ?
2. Will i loose my traffic because of domain name change ? or keyword positions (three of my keywords in 2st and 3nd page)
3. Is there any good will happen if i convert it to normal domain ?
any suggestion

P.s - I am currently experimenting IG+CPA , FB+CPA, Youtube+adsense (thanks to BHW members journey threads. Learned so much from there )
Also have a though of selling one are two blogspot so that i can concentration on social media + CPA .
any thoughts.

Ans: That depends on what you want to do with these websites in future. For instance, if you want to sell them in future, you will get a better price is these are having custom domains.

Ans: The rankings might fluctuate for some time after after the change but you will stabilize to current levels in some time. If you do the migration with right tools and follow the guides present online, you can be in a better position.

3. Is there any good will happen if i convert it to normal domain ?
Ans: One thing I can think of it will be help to establish the blog as a brand. It depends on your intentions with the sites in future. calculate the costs involved and current revenues and proceed accordingly.

Having a custom domain cab give you referral traffic, more trust from visitors.

To sell the website, you have these options :

1) Finding the buyers on your own. This will save listing fees.
2) Using websites like Flippa. There you have to pay Flippa charges.
3) Using a broker. They will charge some commission for sale.

Price you will get depend on a number of factors but mainly it is the monthly revenue.

You can use 301 redirect from old blogspot to new domain . It will pass all seo value to your new domain . Also it will redirect your old visitors to new one.
