Can I submit same article in multiple article directories?
Or is this gonna be black hat stuff..

thank you..

What? seriously? "or is this gonna be blackhat stuff"???

Sorry...but with that kind of question, your off staying at warrior forum

Some think this is not a problem because if you write a unique article you can post it to ezine, articlesbase, and other popular article directories without changes (at least most allow this according to their terms of service). Basically if you are going to republish without spinning your content, the site that gets indexed first gets credit for original content. I personally spin my content. However if I will be lazy and republish without change, then I will put the content on my site first and wait until it gets indexed before posting it at article directories. Big G finds dupe-content all the time and puts it in their supplemental index. While you create a backlink, I believe it does not have the same value as a backlink that is found on a page with unique content, thus the reason I spin my articles (whether this is black hat is purely subjective and up to you to decide), at that is my 2 cents.

you should spend your article to stay on the safe side

I would spin it first, for two reasons: one, google hates duplicate content, two, article directories hate duplicate content.

It's basically self syndication. 100% white hat stuff. Nothing wrong with it at all. Look at news stories coming off the wire. They are posted on thousands of sites word for word.

Personally I have found that my results are about the same regardless if I spin or don't spin. So I don't waist my time spinning articles anymore.

Some say it doesn't matter, but it matters, since most article directories won't give your a one way backlink.

Google doesn't hate duplicate content, it just won't value it the same as the original! So, if your aim is to get backlinks, then either spin your articles or write original articles.

I dont think its a black hat ... , no problem with this, even you'll get same result compare to spun version article submission..

You have been a member here since 2009 and you are asking this question in 2011?

Submitting same article to multiple websites is not blackhat but it is not acceptable either...
Since, multiple submission creates duplicate content so, better you stay away from it.
Instead, try with blogging, it helps in pulling good traffic.

I would suggest you use article spinner to be on the safe side or your articles will be counted as spam that causes decrease in index pages

i did not know about that...But i saw something weird happening using this method(add same article on multiple article directories). I wrote a unique article sumbitted on my site and then sumbitted same article in 4 greek article directories, then google indexed the 1st one article directory and ranked it on spot #32(for my keyword) . 4 days later on spot 32 was not this article directory (that contained my article) but my site that had the original article and article directory completely vanished from google! So i started blasting this article directory instead of the real article that was on my site , and i had some decent results. I'm a total newbie, so i want to ask you that's a good strategy?
